Shellie came to us with a special situation: she wanted to start over and completely rebrand herself. The goal was to position Shellie Ferrer Events as the go-to luxury planning firm in Park City, Utah. I immediately coined the phrase “chalet chic” for her and kept that as the target while we designed. Everything about Shellie’s brand needed to exude elegance with regal notes yet remain approachable. The crest anchoring her logo signifies a luxurious timelessness, and for a personal touch we created an insignia with her initials that gives a nod to her personable service in the wedding and event industry.
INITIAL LOGO DESIGN OPTIONS
With any new brand, strength comes with consistency. When we transitioned to designing her business cards, we prominently placed her mark on chocolate paper stock with an elegant copper foil. The die-cut shape and sleek layout set Shellie apart from the rest and position her as an important figure in the Utah event scene.
The final piece of the Shellie Ferrer Events brand transformation was her new website. A subtle background with her insignia allowed the clean design we created and Shellie’s work to speak for itself. As images tell stories and prove your capabilities to the client, we encouraged Shellie to hold a photo shoot and update her portfolio with fresh Park City imagery. We even brought back our “chalet chic” mission using ornate frames in her gallery to best show off her talents. The result is a functional website that connects her new branding elements together and confirms her identity with a casual luxury.
