Glamour in the City

Glamour in NEW YORK City

Ever since I stepped foot in New York City, I’ve been constantly inspired by it, especially in the Summer. The concrete jungle, the hustle and bustle, the elegant style and individuality that everyone brings with their street style or decked out in a fabulous gown for a night on the town adds to the city’s beauty. On any given Summer evening the city is simply magical, and there are always celebrations going on-just like this week's Ceci Bride Samantha and her Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers wedding. The chic venues, unique architecture, grand ballrooms, or even a terrace overlooking the twinkling city all combined with a bit of an urban edge make this place a perfect spot for a midsummer affair.

This week we’re clearing loving up summertime in the city by embracing this beautiful season and warm-weather parties. Our Ceci Bride Samantha's wedding balances the glam of New York City and warm, relaxing vibe of Summertime. Decked out in a  Pnina Tornai gown, it's no question that glamour was on full display. But, to loosen everyone up and that but of carefree summer fun a fun cigar bar was on display for friends and family to kick back and enjoy. The custom invitations we designed gave a nod to the city with a skyline laser-cut bellyband yet added some warmth with the rose gold foil stamping.  Click here to see the design details! Lastly, for this issue's look, I was totally inspired by this combination: the season and her chic New York City venue (I mean, how could you not be?) and knew that my team and I had to hit the streets of New York for our shoot.  Hope you enjoy!

Here's to summer weddings, this always glam city and love!

P.S. Thank you to Kellie Walsh of 4 Eyes Photography for these images! And, I'm still obsessing over this Halston Heritage dress topped with Nardos Imam's insane shawl.
