Deco Decadence

Art Deco, a style that I personally love, is heavily influenced in my work and wardrobe. As any designer will tell you, the trick is to make it your own – a theme should never feel like you’re going to a Halloween party. That is exactly what Ceci Bride Gianna set out to do with her own modern day Great Gatsby styled wedding. Starting with the couture wedding invitations we designed for her through to the sparkling touches (check out the ice decor and sparklers!), Gianna's wedding certainly has a contemporary vibe, wouldn't you agree?

Now if you're dreaming of being a Gatsby-type bride (or, everyday woman!) yourself, you won't want to miss this week's Style Edit with my picks that will have you feeling like a fabulous flapper from the office to your dinner parties and beyond.

And, of course, there are endless ways to put your own spin on deco when it comes to your invitations. Visit the Ceci New York Gallery to find Art Deco design inspiration along with plenty of looks to suit your style.

P.S. Those of you who know me well, know I'm a girl who loves to get dressed up and the deco era always means serious glamour. I had a blast capturing this vibe with Kellie Walsh of 4 Eyes Photography below. And an extra special thanks to Leah C. for my headpiece. You can always count on Leah to nail this look with her millinery.
