COUTURE CULTURE

My love affair with New York City continues this week (particularly with the ever-romantic Brooklyn Bridge), and we’re celebrating so much more. I always say that inspiration comes in many forms and I find that the truest stems from what surrounds you in your life on a daily basis – your culture and background, the cities we inhabit and visit as well as our love for each other.

Our Ceci Bride Katie’s Santa Fe, New Mexico, wedding is a gorgeous mash-up of all that and beyond. Starting with her Ceci Couture letterpress invitations featuring a metallic gold foil-stamped monogram on a lavender folder wrap, we were inspired by the romance and history of Parisian design and details. Set against the idyllic, lush desert backdrop of the Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado Santa Fe, Katie’s wedding is a celebration of love, tradition and all things beautiful.

While I was completely taken with the "locks of love" bridge in Paris, which was part of Katie's engagement story, I ventured to the next best here in my own backyard for this week's cover shoot. The Brooklyn Bridge is a melting pot of people, cultures and fashion. And there is nothing more fulfilling than being able to travel to new places, experience local customs, meet unique people and simply enjoy this world we live in. I know my team feels this way, too, as they’re all seasoned, passionate travelers, so I asked them to share their top inspiring cultural cities. Doesn’t this list have you full of wanderlust?

Here's to love of all kinds, everywhere!
