PANTONE COLOR OF THE YEAR

As a designer, I depend on Pantone on a daily basis. Its color system is my bible and one of the key tools we artists rely on to create and perfect our work. Fresh off of Pantone's announcement of its (two!) Colors of the Year – Rose Quartz and Serenity – we’re celebrating with a full issue dedicated to the picks. While the past few years featured bold and bright colors like Emerald Green, Radiant Orchid, and Marsala, this year’s hues are soft, graceful and – best of all – bridal-ready!

Now that this duo has been announced, look for these colors to make quite a statement in weddings. We’ve rounded up some of the best ways to incorporate these shades into your invitations, and I’ve included some of my recent watercolors experimenting with the pretty pairing. See below and head on over to my Instagram for a fun surprise.

It’s certainly an exciting moment as Pantone’s picks go well beyond our designs. If you’re anything like me, you have little time to get ready, but still want to look great. Keep your style on-trend with our Get the Look finds – this roundup is a great shortcut to embrace the Colors of the Year. Plus, my friend and fabulous interior stylist Janette Ewen is sharing her favorite items and chic ways to bring these soft hues into your life.

From fashion and beauty to our design work, we’re obsessing over Pantone this week (and always). Here’s to beautifying your world and living in color!
