V185: Ceci Inspirations - Happy Valentine's Day

Can't be in Paris this Valentine's Day? I've got the next best thing in this week's ultra-romantic, French-inspired CeciStyle. I took a cue from Marie Antoinette and filled the issue with fancy, fit-for-a-queen details, starting with my Get the Look board and ending with the to-die-for Parisian-style macarons from my favorite neighborhood pastry shop, La Maison du Macaron.

You're also in for some serious eye candy because our Ceci Bride Jessica's regal wedding is the perfect mix of luxe gold, sweet pastels, and a very special pop of personality. Namely, you'll notice a certain buzz about her invitations. And I don't just mean how popular they are. I'm talking about the fun, playful bees and honeycomb pattern we wove throughout her designs. The story is that her fiancé nicknamed this wedding-planner-turned-bride "Busy Bee" when they first started dating because she was always doing a million things at once. My challenge was to incorporate this personal story in a way that was still elegant and worthy of the regal affair you'll see below in Our Muse. If there is such thing as an elegant bee, I think we've created it!

In that spirit, here's wishing you a sweet, happy Valentine's Day, or in French, joyeuse Saint-Valentin!

P.S. Many thanks to Luminosity Photography & Design for all the dreamy images below!
