V103: Ceci Inspirations - Baby Mason in the City

BABY MASON IN THE CITY

You’ve told me how much you love hearing about my son, Mason, so this week I’m taking a break from the norm to share new details of my life as a mom. For those of you who are juggling work, raising a baby and all the rest – this issue is for you. We’re all in this together!

To make sure you’re getting your time’s worth (I know you moms are either reading this from work while your baby is with a caretaker or at home while your baby is asleep), I’m updating you on the coolest things happening in the world of babies and toddlers. I called on my friends at the educational toy company Melissa & Doug to give us a glimpse of their latest and greatest creations. And the fabulous ladies over at the super chic blog Cool Mom Picks are revealing their must-haves for moms on the go. Plus, there’s healthy recipes for kids, and some tried-and-true tips from me, too – my personal experience trying to sleep train Mason and keep myself looking pulled together.

To kick things off, I’m excited to show you these fun pictures my friend and talented professional photographer Brian Dorsey took of Mason in our favorite spots across the city. This whole issue was inspired by similar photos Brian took of his son when he was a baby. I saw them and was smitten – there’s something so cool about using your hometown (as opposed to a generic studio) as a backdrop for your little one’s portrait. It’s sure to be the next hot thing in children’s photography!

Enjoy this issue and, if you know a friend whose life will be made easier and more stylish with these tips, please pass it on!
