This Week's Guest Editor: Tiler Peck
I have a confession to make: I love ballerinas. Everything about them. From the way they move, to their incredibly long and perfect legs, to their graceful fingertips, to the way their tulle tutus float across the stage, to how they extend their legs high up in the air in that quintessential ballet pose (you know the one), it always gets me green with envy just wishing I could have been born with their amazing flexibility. Yes, one might even say I am slightly obsessed. So you can imagine my excitement when I had the opportunity to meet a real, professional ballerina up close after seeing her perform at Carnegie Hall. I was awestruck and wanted to be her. Since I’ve accepted long ago that becoming a ballerina isn’t in the cards for me, I figured the next best thing would be to channel her grace.
So in keeping with this week's tulle theme, I invited my friend Tiler Peck to take a break from performing at the famous New York City Ballet and share with us her latest loves. Here's hoping a few swipes of Estée Lauder lip gloss will imbue all of us with some of Tiler's elegance!
