Getting married in Paris is a dream in itself. But this week's muse, Lucy Swift Weber, took things one step further and infused her Parisian wedding with style elements inspired by the romantic pastry shop Ladurée.
My team and I were so excited to design all the paper accessories that would fill the dining room of the private club where Lucy and Noah were getting married. Using Ladurée's pretty pastels as a starting point, we created delicate gold flourishes and pinstripes and put them on everything from the tented appetizer signs (croustillant de foie gras aux amandes, anyone?) to the favor boxes the guests received as parting gifts. As you can see in the photos below, the result was truly magnifique!
Since Ladurée's charms are this week's theme, I couldn't resist stopping by its elegant new outpost on Manhattan's Upper East Side. I highly recommend you schedule a visit yourself and scoop up a box of their delicious macarons. In the meantime, check out this week's Get the Look for more ways to capture Ladurée's romantic style in your own life. Plus, we've got shutterbug Corbin Gurkin's top tips for destination wedding photography and a fantastic guide to the best macaron shops in New York City.
May your week be chic!
